N.V. National Air Pilots School: Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Twente, Eindhoven. The Sport of Flying - -A sport that builds character, self control, and perserverance. Tourism by Air. You must keep up with the fast growth in aviation: LEARN TO FLY!

The N.V. National Air Pilots School was started in 1927 by the Rotterdam Aero Club as the first civilian flying school in the Netherlands. At the four branches of the school - Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Twente, and Eindhoven - students learned to fly on two types of Dutch sport planes: the Pander Sesquiplane, a light, open two-seater meant for basic training; and the Koolhoven cabin monoplane, a more powerful machine with an enclosed cabin.
